Smart 1 to 4 Sequential Switch
SS14 is a bidirectional sequential switch with some special features.
The length of the sequence can be set from 1 to 4 steps, and is determined by the greatest of the O/I jacks used.
When only O/I1 is used, SS14 will open/close the connection with the common I/O. As soon as a greater O/I jack is used, SS14 will behave more like traditional sequential switches.
A toggle switch on the front panel controls whether the sequence will loop, or if the channel is randomized from O/I1 to the greatest O/I used. In case only O/I1 is used, the connection with the common I/O will be randomized at each rising edge of the Clock.
On the back of the unit, a triple shunt allows normalization of the O/Is (1>2 / 2>3 / 3>4), which can be handy when clocking the module with a steady clock rather than a sequenced trigger.
