Ledges is a compact, three-mode reverb with the ability to save and recall six presets and user-assignable expression control with loads of customizable options. If you’re craving that warm, lush reverb tone from the players and songs you love, then this is your pedal. If you want to push the limits and take it further to sonic reaches that only you can uncover, then this is also your pedal. It’s everything you’ve ever wanted and needed out of a reverb.
We created Ledges for no-nonsense musicians who need access to a wide variety of fantastic sounds and don’t want to mess with menu diving, extra footswitches, or midi controllers. Ledges offers three distinct, rich reverbs that cover all your bases - Room, Hall and the almost infinitely regenerating Plate - with user assignable expression control and six presets to easily switch between settings. Presets can even save expression pedal assignments, making it easier than ever to save and switch between the 6 best reverb sounds that are yours and yours alone.
Ledges has three unique reverb modes: Room, Hall and Plate. Each mode uses a different algorithm, tuned to give specific spatial qualities, while still sitting perfectly in the mix. We steered clear of any tones that were harsh or muddy.
Three Handcrafted Reverb Modes
Mode R: Room Reverb
Room (R) has the darkest tone of the three modes. At the shortest length setting it’s like a small, boxy room, reminiscent of 80s reverb. As you bring the length up, the reflections become distant and brighter; similar to playing in a large tile room. If you hit the strings harder, it has an almost spring reverb character without becoming completely washed out.
Mode H: Hall Reverb
Hall’s (H) shortest length setting picks up where the longest length of Room leaves off. Hall shifts from a large hall to a massive cathedral with loads of soft, distant reflections that build up faster and trail off longer.
Mode P: Plate Reverb
Plate (P) goes from a traditional, large plate to a nearly infinite pad of reflections that create a regenerative freeze-like effect that gradually decays. At the shortest length setting, the decay of the Plate picks up where Hall leaves off. At the longest length setting, the highest frequencies of the reverb are recirculated, generating a nearly infinite ambient pad of bouncy reflections underneath your initial attack that can go to the verge of self-oscillation. The recirculated pad can be further fine-tuned with the damping control to sit just right in the mix.
Pro Tip: Ledges is buffered bypass to allow the reverb to naturally decay when bypassed. You can create a dense ambient pad, bypass the pedal and play over top of your naturally decaying micro-loop. Get 2 or 3 Ledges and make a mini reverb version of Frippertronics!
Global Features
Presets
Ledges boasts six presets and on-the-fly footswitch preset switching, with expression control that can be mapped to different controls and can also be saved as a preset.
Saving, recalling and overwriting presets has never been simpler.
To save a preset, turn the Preset rotary switch to the desired location you wish to save your preset. Dial in the mode and settings you want to save (including the expression pedal assignment!), hold the save/recall switch down until the LED flashes between green and red, and then release. Your preset is saved!
To recall a preset, just select the desired preset you wish to use with the Preset selector switch and do one of the two following actions:
- When the pedal is activated and the effect is in use, hold the foot switch down for at least 0.75 seconds, and it will switch from Live mode to Preset mode.
- Tap the lighted Save/Recall switch. The switch will turn from green to red, indicating you are now in Preset mode. Tap again and the switch will turn from red to green, indicating you are in Live mode.
Operating Modes
Ledges has two operating modes which are indicated by the color of the Save/Recall switch LED. In Live mode, the pedal will operate exactly where the controls are set and any changes will have no effect on the presets unless saved. In Preset mode, stored presets, including expression pedal mapping, are selected using the Preset switch, and the physical settings of the controls will be ignored.
When the pedal is activated and the effect is in use, hold down the foot switch for at least 0.75 seconds and it will switch from Live mode to Preset mode. With Ledges, it’s never been easier to switch between Live and Preset modes on the fly, vastly expanding your sonic cosmos - no bending down required!
User-Assignable Expression Control
You can easily map an expression pedal to any of the controls, allowing for limitless experimentation. Ledges comes with the expression jack mapped to the Damping control, but to reassign it, just insert the expression pedal into the EXP jack, place the expression pedal in the toe down position, turn the control (any amount and in any direction) on the Ledges that you wish to put under control of the expression pedal, put the expression pedal in the heel down position, and voila! This control is now assigned to the expression jack and can be controlled by an expression pedal.

How much is my shipping?
Shipping is automatically calculated before you submit your payment information. Simply add items to your cart and proceed to the checkout page, where you'll be offered shipping options and their prices. In the UK it's normally around £4 for order values under £150, and free above that. Shipping to mainland EU is typically between £7 and £20, depending on the shipping method and the size and weight of the order.
Do you ship to my country?
Almost certainly - the site will give you an estimate of shipping costs if you add an item to the cart and then enter your country and postcode. If you have specific requirements (such as if you prefer UPS over FedEx, for example) then let us know in advance and we'll try to work something out for you.
Shipping methods
We use a combination of Parcelforce, DPD, Royal Mail and UPS for the UK, and for international orders it's either Royal Mail, UPS, DHL or FedEx depending on where you are in the world. If you have a particular preference then try to let us know BEFORE you order so we can look into it for you. Please note that there may occasionally be additional shipping charges if you live in a remote area, depending on what surcharges are applied by the shipper. We'll get in touch to discuss this with you in such cases.
Dispatch times
For UK orders, we normally dispatch the same working day if we get the order before 15:00. If you have a really urgent situation then of course drop us an email before ordering and we'll always do our absolute best to accommodate you.
For international orders, we normally dispatch the same day if we get the order before 13:00 but again, occasionally it might be the next day before we can send it out, and sometimes FedEx or UPS may come a little earlier than scheduled which would also push an order into the next day.
Shipping times
Since April 2020 the couriers we use have suspended guarantees for shipping times, so even though we're paying them for priority services - 24-48 hours for most of the world - in practice it's often an extra day on top and sometimes it can be longer.
There is absolutely nothing we can do about this unfortunately. If you are outside the UK and it's a life-or-death situation where you absolutely MUST have that passive mult for the next day then... it may be better to find a local supplier.
Saturday shipping
If you're in the UK and you order before 15:30 on a Friday then we can send something for a Saturday delivery (NB: this applies to UK mainland addresses only). The success rate with DPD is about 95% so it's worth a punt most of the time. Please note that if you select Saturday shipping on an order placed earlier in the week, we'll wait until Friday to ship it.
Pre-orders
If a product is listed as a pre-order, it means we've ordered it from the supplier but it's not physically in stock yet. The product listing will include an estimated shipping date based on the best information we have from the supplier, but do bear in mind this is subject to change and is not a guaranteed date.
If you place an order containing a mixture of in-stock and pre-order items, we'll normally hold off on shipping anything until the pre-order item(s) have arrived, rather than splitting it into multiple shipments. If you need the in-stock items sooner, we'd recommend placing separate orders. As always, please get in touch if you have questions.
