We say...
A unique and unusual filter for adventurous sonic explorers!
Manufacturer's description
Trot is a special filter module with a basic design based on the Ultrasound from the Ciat-Lonbarde Rollz-5. The circuit has been updated for a strong self-exciting effect, and it can be pinged.
Cutoff in 1&2
Trot consists of two sets of filters, left and right, and two sets of CV and knobs control the cutoff value of filter 1 and filter 2 respectively. But the two cutoffs will affect each other, and adjusting the parameters of filter 1 will also affect filter 2, especially in the case of self-excitation.
The Ultrasound filter is used as a drum source in Rollz-5, and Trot can also be used with trigger signals fed to audio in 1 and 2. In this case, audio outs 1 and 2 produce drum sounds, which can be changed with a knob or CV.
Audio in 1&2
In the absence of any input from audio in, Trot's self-excitation gives audio out a very 'grumpy' output. You can plug audio out 1 into audio in 2 to get an enhanced 'grumpy' output in audio out 2, and vice versa.
Switch
Filters 1 and 2 each have a selection switch next to the output. Adjust the switch position to change the degree of self-excitation.
Tips!
Trot can also be used for filtering. The filtering will have distortion, and the sound is very special!
